Previous Commission action/date:
09/07/2021 meeting: 1) Approved the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Baldwin Beach Express and Foley Beach Express overhead directional signs and intersection improvements project once plans and contract documents are completed.
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on October 20, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. Four (4) bids were received. The lowest bid was received from McElhenney Construction Co., LLC, in the bid amount of $499,750.96. The Baldwin County Engineer, Joey Nunnally, has reviewed the bid responses and has submitted the certified Bid Tabulation and letter recommending that the bid be awarded to the lowest bidder, McElhenney Construction Co., LLC, in the amount of $499,750.96.
