BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The subject property is currently zoned RA, Rural Agricultural District, RSF-E, Estate Residential, and B-2, Neighborhood Business, and is located in Planning District 15 in the Daphne area. The applicant is asking to rezone to RSF-2, Residential Single Family District, and RMF-6, Multi-Family, with the limitations and restrictions governed by a Planned Residential Development (PRD) Site Plan. The applicant would like PRD approval to create 132 single-family sites and a 156 townhome residential development.
The Planning Commission considered this request at their November 7, 2024, meeting and voted 7-1 to recommend APPROVAL to the County Commission.
