STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Agreements between the Baldwin County Commission and the following entities for the use of the Baldwin County 700/800 MHz Interoperable Communications System:

 

Lifeguard Ambulance Service, LLC

Perdido Beach Volunteer Fire Department

City of Loxley Volunteer Fire Department

City of Loxley Police Department

Magnolia Springs Volunteer Fire Department

 

Each Agreement shall take effect upon full execution for a term of three (3) years unless terminated by either party.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Agreements establish the permission, guidelines, compensation and requirements for the use of the Baldwin County Interoperable Radio System.

 

Previous Commission action/date: 

October 18, 2022 - Approved agreement with Lifeguard Ambulance Service.

 

December 15, 2015 - Approved agreement with City of Loxley Volunteer Fire Department, City of Loxley Police Department, Perdido Beach Volunteer Fire Department, and Magnolia Springs Volunteer Fire Department.
