STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

1) Approve License Agreement #24028 permitting Utilities Board of the City of Foley d/b/a Riviera Utilities to install a 2-inch electrical conduit and two new transformers along the south side of Moogs Lane right-of-way.

The term of this agreement shall commence on the date of full execution. License for installation shall terminate at 11:59 p.m. on April 30, 2025. License for Maintenance shall be indefinite according to the terms of the agreement; and

2) Authorize the Assistant County Engineer to execute Utility Permit #24416-E.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  Utilities Board of the City of Foley d/b/a Riviera Utilities desires to install 650 feet of 2-inch electrical conduit and two new transformers along the south side of Moogs Lane on unmaintained right-of-way to provide service to 5593 and 5556 Moogs Lane.

 

The Baldwin County Utility Permit Guidelines shall be utilized in pursuit of the attached Utility Permit #24416-E. Any damage to private property or County right-of-way shall be repaired to the previous state or improved as required by Baldwin County. Appropriate erosion and sediment control practices shall be utilized, and no clearing shall take place.
