STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract to Audit Federal Awards with State of Alabama Examiners of Public Accounts beginning March 25, 2026, and ending March 25, 2027.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  State Auditors will perform an audit of the federal assistance received by the Baldwin County Commission.

 

Previous Commission action/date:  06/03/2025 - Approved the previous Audit Contract for the period beginning April 30, 2025, and ending April 30, 2026.

Total cost of recommendation:  Not to Exceed $20,492
