Recommendation

Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract with 5020 Engineering Resource Group, Inc., in the amount of $20,000.00, for the Dauphin Island Sea Lab / Mobile Bay National Estuary Program’s Baldwin County Monitoring Task - Low Impact Development (LID) Practices / Techniques Suspended Solids and Nutrient Load Reduction Excel Site Review Tool.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Commission, during their October 21, 2025, regular meeting, authorized County staff to begin contract negotiations with 5020 Engineering Resource Group, Inc., so that a final recommendation could be brought to the Commission for approval. 5020 Engineering Resource Group, Inc., has submitted a Proposal for engineering/environmental services for the Dauphin Island Sea Lab / Mobile Bay National Estuary Program’s Baldwin County Monitoring Task - Low Impact Development (LID) Practices / Techniques Suspended Solids and Nutrient Load Reduction Excel Site Review Tool in the amount of $20,000.00. Staff recommends the Commission approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract.

 

Previous Commission action/date: 

10/21/2025 meeting: Authorize staff to begin negotiations with 5020 Engineering Resource Group, Inc., so that a final recommendation for award can be made to the Baldwin County Commission for the Dauphin Island Sea Lab / Mobile Bay National Estuary Program’s Baldwin County Monitoring Task - Low Impact Development (LID) Practices / Techniques Suspended Solids and Nutrient Load Reduction Excel Site Review Tool.

 

08/19/2025 meeting: Approved the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Engineering / Environmental Services for the Dauphin Island Sea Lab / Mobile Bay National Estuary Program’s Baldwin County Monitoring Task - Low Impact Development (LID) Practices / Techniques Suspended Solids and Nutrient Load Reduction Excel Site Review Tool and authorized the Purchasing Director to advertise the RFQ.

 

07/16/2025 meeting: Approved the Amended Subrecipient Agreement with the Dauphin Island Sea Lab and Mobile Bay National Estuary Program for Baldwin County Stream Gauge Monitoring.

 

05/20/2025 meeting: Approved the Subrecipient Agreement with the Dauphin Island Sea Lab and Mobile Bay National Estuary Program for Baldwin County Stream Gauge Monitoring.
