STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Approve the Highway Department to pave a handicap parking space, resurface and stripe the parking lot at the Josephine Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) for an estimated cost of $10,800.00 for labor.

 

Josephine VFD will be invoiced the actual cost of labor upon completion of the project. The County will donate equipment costs. Josephine VFD will provide all materials for the project.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Josephine VFD is requesting assistance from the Baldwin County Commission to pave a handicap parking space, resurface and stripe the parking lot.

 

The subject work is being performed at the request of the Josephine VFD and the County shall not be responsible or liable for any future control, maintenance, or repairs of the subject property, or otherwise, which shall remain the sole responsibility of the Josephine VFD.
