Recommendation
Approve the Agreement between AltaPointe Health Systems Inc. and the Baldwin County Commission for the Assisted Outpatient Treatment / Crisis Response Team for a one (1) year period in the amount of $384,687.00 to be supplemented by Opioid Funds for cases with documented correlation to opioid addiction.
The Agreement commences January 6, 2026, and terminates December 31, 2026.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: This year’s funding request (up to $384,687.00) is to be provided from Contingency Reserves (10051105.52901) and reallocated to Non-Departmental Projects (10010100.52990) to capture cost and account for potential supplementation of Opioid Funds.
Second-year funding request will be evaluated during the FY 2027 budget process and will be contingent upon initial data and results.
Previous Commission action/date: During the December 16, 2025, Regular meeting, the Commission approved the funding request from AltaPointe Health for Assisted Outpatient Treatment / Crisis Response Team for one (1) year up to $384,687.00 to be supplemented by Opioid Funds for cases with documented correlation to opioid addiction and authorized the use of Contingency Reserves.
