Recommendation
Authorize Staff to release the Surety (Maintenance Bond) from Old Republic Company on behalf of WCMC Lakeland, LLC in the amount of $108,000.00 to guarantee the workmanship and materials of the roadways and drainage improvements with the public rights-of-way as shown on the approved Final Plat and “As-Built” construction plans.

Background: On April 4, 2017, the Baldwin County Commission took the following action:
Accepted the following subdivision roads for maintenance and authorized said roads to be added to the County Maintenance Road List:
Lakeway Drive - 748 ft length - Maintenance Area 200 - Asphalt. Width 27 ft - Gutter
Lakeland Drive - 1,221ft length - Maintenance Area 200 - Asphalt Width 27 ft - Gutter
and approved the Subdivision Roadway and Drainage Improvement Acceptance Agreement and accepted the Surety Document from Old Republic Company on behalf of WCMC Lakeland, LLC in the amount of $108,000.00 to guarantee the workmanship and materials of the roadways and drainage improvements with the public rights-of-way as shown on the approved Final and “As-Built” construction plans.
