BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on January 24, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. One (1) bid was received. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for the Provision of Police Vehicle Equipment (Brake Pads/Rotors) to Vehicle Maintenance Program, Inc. as per the attached Award Listing.
Previous Commission action/date:
01/02/2024 meeting: Rejected the bid received from Advance Stores Company, Inc., d/b/a Advance Auto Parts for the Provision of Police Vehicle Equipment (Brake Pads/Rotors) and authorized the Purchasing Director to re-bid for the equipment; and authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid was advertised.
12/05/2023 meeting: Approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Provision of Police Vehicle Equipment (Brake Pads/Rotors) for the Baldwin County Commission; and further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid was advertised.
