Recommendation
Approve Baldwin Regional Area Transit System (BRATS) through the Clerk/Treasurer, to auction two (2) BRATS vehicles listed below on GovDeals.com at a minimum bid price of $500.00 with allowable bids in $100.00 increments.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The 2017 Ford E-450 Vehicle was totaled in an accident on September 18, 2023. Baldwin County Commission holds a salvage title and the federal interest in the vehicle has been remitted to ALDOT.
The 2011 Dodge Caravan was purchased by the Baldwin County Commission on March 9, 2011, with local funding; therefore, there is no federal interest.
Previous Commission action/date:
December 5, 2023 - Approved BRATS to retain for salvage the totaled 2017 Ford E-450 transit vehicle and authorized payment to ALDOT of the initial insurance proceeds of $4,960.00.
June 4, 2024 - Authorized final payment of $34,880.00 to ALDOT for the remaining federal share of the insurance proceeds for the 2017 Ford E-450.
