Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Authorize the Baldwin County Animal Shelter to host the Christmas at the Shelter event to be held at the Baldwin County Animal Shelter on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.; and
2) Approve the Christmas at the Shelter 2026 flyer, guidelines, and vendor applications.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Christmas at the Shelter will be a new annual event designed to welcome the community into our facility, showcase our animals, and encourage adoptions. The event will feature local vendors and provide a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Admission will be free, and we look forward to making this a yearly tradition that supports our mission and engages the public.
