STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Authorize Baldwin Regional Area Transit System (BRATS) staff to submit the Fiscal Year 2025 Section 5307 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Grant application for Section 5307 Federal funds in the amount of $60,770.00 to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) electronically through the required web-based portal “Transit Award Management System” (TrAMS).

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Fairhope-Daphne UZA was apportioned $60,770.00 of ARPA Transportation funds to be used for operating expenses of the Baldwin Regional Area Transit System (BRATS). This apportionment funding will lapse if not obligated by September 30, 2024.

 

This program is 100% federally funded and requires no local match.
