Recommendation
Adopt Resolution #2021-037 amending the Fiscal Year 2021 Budget (Resolution #2020-126 and Resolution #2020-127, adopted September 22, 2020) to authorize the roll forward of FY20 project funds to FY21 for Funds 111, 115, and 165 and the funding of the County Road 6 property purchase.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date: Fiscal Year 2021 Budget was passed on September 22, 2020. The County Road 6 property purchase was approved on December 15, 2020.
Background: The Fiscal Year 2021 Budget was passed on September 22, 2020 via Resolution #2020-126 and Resolution #2020-127. The Highway Department respectfully requests that FY20 budgeted project funds from Funds 111, 115, and 165 be rolled forward to FY21. The County Road 6 property purchase was approved on December 15, 2020. Budget staff respectfully requests that the General Fund - Fund Balance funds be adjusted to fund the purchase.
FINANCIAL IMPACT
Total cost of recommendation: The property purchase represents a $2,000,000.00 adjustment not previously budgeted for in FY21. The project funds being rolled forward for Highway Funds 111, 115, and 165 represent budgeted projects from FY20 that were previously approved and funded.
