Confirm, ratify, and approve the Chairman to execute the Alabama Gulf Coast Recovery Council’s Consent Resolution to approve Amendment 1 to Multiyear Implementation Plan.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: In November 2018, the Alabama Gulf Coast Recovery Council (the Alabama Council) approved its initial Multiyear Implementation Plan (MIP) delineating the projects to be funded throughout the years through the RESTORE ACT. The RESTORE ACT authorizes subsequent amendments to an accepted MIP. The Alabama Council is now proposing to amend its initial MIP to reflect needed changes to the projects, budgets, and scopes of work as recommended by the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
After due process, the Alabama Council held a meeting on December 19, 2025, and unanimously voted to approve Amendment 1. The Chairman of the County Commission is designated to represent the Commission as a voting member of the Alabama Council.
