STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Approve an Intergovernmental Service Agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and the Town of Magnolia Springs for the Highway Department (Traffic Control Section) to stripe the following roads within Magnolia Springs town limits for an estimated cost of $4,846.70 for labor and equipment:

 

Pecan Grove Street from Oak Street to 240’ N of Cougill Avenue – 0.49 miles

Gates Avenue from Magnolia Springs Highway to Old Marlow Road – 0.30 miles

Oak Street from Magnolia Springs Highway to Woodland Drive – 1.04 miles

 

The Town of Magnolia Springs will be invoiced the actual project cost for labor and equipment and will provide materials for the project.

 

This agreement shall be effective upon full execution and terminate after twelve (12) months unless terminated by either party upon delivery of a thirty (30) day notice of termination.

Background:  The Town of Magnolia Springs is requesting assistance from the County for striping on Pecan Grove Street, Gates Avenue and Oak Street in Magnolia Springs town limits.
