STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2026-037 amending the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget (Resolution #2025-170 and Resolution #2025-171, adopted on September 16, 2025) in order to recognize new revenue and reallocate funds.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  Highway Area 300 experienced damage to a John Deere loader and has received an insurance Sworn Statement from ACCA in the amount of $30,817.00. Staff requests that the Commission approve the allocation of these funds to Highway Insurance Recoveries to facilitate the payment for the repairs to the John Deere loader.

 

The Budget Director respectfully requests the reallocation of $80,000.00 from Capital Projects - Contract Services to Capital Projects - Capital Outlay Land to purchase the parking lot located on North Pine Street, Bay Minette. 

 

Previous Commission action/date:  09/16/2025, BCC Regular Meeting - Adoption of Fiscal Year 2026 Budget.
