Background:
Quotes were received to replace the wire mesh over the walkways in front of the dog kennels at the Baldwin County Animal Shelter with vinyl so rain water does not run into the kennels and the employees do not get wet while taking care of the animals. Three (3) quotes were received. The lowest quote was received from Porter Roofing Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $19,850.00 for Option #1. Recommend the Commission award the quote to Porter Contractors, Inc., and authorize the Chairman to execute the Public Works Contract and Certificate of Compliance.
