STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) In accordance with ALA. Code Section 11-49-80, the County Commission hereby assents to the annexation of the following described road and/or right-of-way in the corporate limits of the City of Gulf Shores:
Peed Place from 480 feet east of Geno Road running approximately 766 feet to Cotton Creek; and
2) Authorize the Chairman to execute the Quitclaim Deed.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date: N/A
Background: The City of Gulf Shores annexed the above portion of Peed Place subsequent to July 7, 1995. Pursuant to Alabama Code Section 11-49-80, the Baldwin County Highway Department has removed the said portion of road from the County Maintained Road list and notified the City of Gulf Shores by letter.
