BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date:
06/05/2018 meeting: 1) Approved the specification and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Dumpster/Garbage Collection Services and Disposal for the Baldwin County Commission; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on June 27, 2018, at 11:30 A.M. Two (2) Bids were received. The lowest bid was received
from BFI Waste Services, LLC, d/b/a Republic Services of Mobile for the Dumpster/Garbage Collection Services and Disposal as per the attached Bid
Tabulation.
