Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2018-094, which approves Case No. Z-18027 - Wentworth Property, as it pertains to the rezoning of 39.38 acres, more or less, as located in Planning (Zoning) District 33, from RA, Rural Agricultural District, to B-4, Major Commercial District.

Background:  The subject request involves one parcel which consist of approximately 39.38 acres.  The current zoning is RA, Rural Agricultural District, and the requested zoning is B-4, Major Commercial District for the purpose of establishing a Recreational Vehicle Park and Recreational Vehicle Storage facility.

 

The Baldwin County Planning Commission considered this request at its June 7, 2018, meeting and voted to recommend DENIAL to the County Commission.  Staff’s recommendation is to APPROVE the rezoning request.
