Recommendation
Commander Bill Bergman of the Military Order of the Purple Heart will address the Commission in the remembrance of the sacrifice of those awarded the Purple Heart.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date: Baldwin County Commission Regular meeting: Approved/August 1, 2017.
Background: August 7th is commemorated throughout the United States as National Purple Heart Day. This is a time for all Americans to pause and remember the brave men and women who were wounded or gave the ultimate sacrifice paid with their lives for our Country.
The Baldwin County Commission respects and appreciates the service and sacrifices of our nation’s armed forces and veterans.
Commander Bill Bergman of the Military Order of the Purple Heart will be in attendance to share the importance of this day and honor the many who have sacrificed.
