STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Recommend the Commission approve the specifications and authorize the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for On-Call Fiber Optic Installation and Repair Services; and
2) Further, authorize the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.

Background: The Communications and Information Systems (CIS) staff is requesting that a competitive bid be advertised for an On-Call Fiber Optic installation and repair services contract that the County would use at various locations when new fiber is installed or repairs are needed. This will be an annual bid.
