BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Previous Commission action/date:  N/A

Background:  Baldwin County Sewer Service has requested to install approximately 2630’ of 2” PVC/HDPE SFM on the East side of Pine Drive and the North side of Bluewater Drive.  Baldwin County Sewer Service will be installing service to three customers on Osprey Drive.  These roads are not County maintained.  The rights-of-way were deeded to Baldwin County and the subject property is within the town limits of Elberta.  The County Commission approved a License Agreement with Tom Schlinkert on February 19, 2013.  The License Agreement permitted Mr. Schlinkert to “maintain the right-of-way of Bluewater Drive and Pine Drive and construct a turn out on Bluewater Drive for The Hammock-Phase 2 Subdivision and install a stop sign at the intersection of Bluewater Drive and Yucatan Lane.”  The Commission also waived the applicable insurance requirements.  The License Agreement was approved for one-year subject to annual renewals.
