Award the bid as per the attached Award Listings for each category of headings to Mobile Asphalt Co., LLC; and Hosea O. Weaver & Sons, Inc., and Eagle Wholesale Supply, Inc., d/b/a Eagle Utilities & Vault Co., for the Provision of Bituminous Materials.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date:
09/04/18 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications for the Provision of Bituminous Materials and authorize the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the provision of bituminous materials; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
Background: Bids opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on September 25, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. Three (3) bids were received. Award recommendations were based on transportation cost and supply location for picked up materials and to the lowest bidder on delivered materials. Recommend the Commission award the bid as per the attached Award Listings for each category of headings. Bid Tabulation and Award Listings attached. 2017 Pricing attached for Commission review.
