Recommendation

Take the following actions:

 

1) Authorize the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for Project No. 0218017 - Bridge Replacement on Hoyle Bryars Road Over Bushy Creek West; and

 

2) Authorize the Chairman to execute any project related documents.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Previous Commission action/date:  September 18, 2018 - The Commission adopted the Fiscal Year 2018-2019 Budget.

 

Background: 

The Highway Department is preparing construction plans for the bridge replacement on Hoyle Bryars Road over Bushy Creek West.  The Highway Department is requesting permission for the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the said project when design plans are complete.
