STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Approve the request from the Baldwin EMC, Summerdale Office, to close County Road 71 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018, for its Extra Mile Run/Walk fundraising event.
The event will start at the Summerdale Office’s Training Center parking lot on Couch Plant Road, and turn north on County Road 71. The turnaround will be at the intersection of County Road 48 South and County Road 71.
The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office will provide the necessary security for this event.

Background: The Baldwin EMC, Summerdale Office, will host the Extra Mile Run/Walk fundraising event on Saturday, October 27, 2018, and has requested County Road 71 to be closed from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
The event is for Baldwin EMC employees and their families only. Each participant will be required to sign a liability waiver.
