Recommendation
Approve the request from Gateswood Volunteer Fire Department to close County Road 112, beginning at 33014 County Road 112 (Gateswood Fire Department), traveling to 32815 County Road 112 (Hamilton Baptist Church), and returning to Gateswood Volunteer Fire Department, on December 8, 2018, from 11:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m., to hold its Annual Christmas Parade.
The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office will provide the necessary security for the event.

Background: On November 2, 2018, Administration staff received a request from Ms. Tara Stracener, Secretary for the Gateswood Volunteer Fire Department, requesting approval to close County Road 112 for the Gateswood Volunteer Fire Department’s Annual Christmas Parade. The parade will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will conclude at 11:45 a.m. The route will begin at 33014 County Road 112 (Gateswood Volunteer Fire Department), traveling to 32815 County Road 112 (Hamilton Baptist Church) and returning to 33014 County Road 112 (Gateswood Fire Department).
