Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Approve the re-naming of the North Baldwin Council on Aging to the Stockton Nutrition Center; and
2) Approve the removal/replacing of the existing road signage.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date: June 3, 2008, Commission voted to name the newly constructed center The North Baldwin Council on Aging.
Background: The North Baldwin Council on Aging located at 55810 Canaan Road in Stockton was opened, June 2008. There has been some confusion with the name, as the Council on Aging offices are in Robertsdale, some often mistake that the Council on Aging has offices in North Baldwin. The North Baldwin Council on Aging serves as a S.A.I.L. (Senior Activities for Independent Living) Center, serving meals to area seniors on site and home delivery. Re-naming the S.A.I.L. Center to the Stockton Nutrition Center would help with any confusion the public may have. The existing road signs would need to be removed and replaced to display the new name.
