BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date: 02/21/2018; 01/17/2017
Background: February 21, 2018 - The Commission approved the sale by auction of Solid Waste Department equipment at the J.M. Wood Auction facility in Montgomery, Alabama, on March 13-16, 2018.
January 17, 2017 - The Commission approved an Auction Sales Agreement between J.M. Wood Auction Company, Inc., and Baldwin County, which will be applicable to all departments of the Commission, with all future auction inventory lists being brought to the Commission for approval. (This agreement became effective February 20, 2017, and will terminate twelve (12) months from its effective date with an automatic renewal for an additional two (2) years, in one (1) year increments, unless cancelled by either party with a 30-day written notice prior to contract renewal.)
The Commission also approved the sale by auction of Solid Waste Department equipment at the J.M. Wood Auction facility in Montgomery, Alabama, on March 14-17, 2017.
