Recommendation
Approve the execution of a Solid Waste Collection Services Agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and the Town of Summerdale, Alabama, to continue Solid Waste collection services for a period of 36 months, to be effective the first day of the month following the full execution of this Agreement and expiring April 1, 2022.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date: Yes
Background: March 20, 2007 - Approved a garbage service agreement between the Town of Summerdale and Baldwin County Commission with term of 36 months.
March 16, 2010 - Baldwin County Commission approved the amendment to the original agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and the Town of Summerdale to continue garbage collection services for a period of (1) year commencing upon the full execution of the amendment and expiring on April 1, 2011.
April 5, 2011 - Baldwin County Commission approved the amendment to the original agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and the Town of Summerdale to continue garbage collection service for a period of (1) year commencing upon the full execution of the amendment and expiring on April 1, 2012.
March 20, 2012 - Baldwin County Commission approved the amendment to the original agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and the Town of Summerdale to continue garbage collection service for a period of (1) year commencing upon the full execution of the amendment and expiring on April 1, 2013.
March 19, 2013 - Baldwin County Commission approved the Solid Waste Collection Services Agreement for a period of thirty-six (36) months, to be effective April 1, 2013.
March 15, 2016 - Baldwin County Commission approved the Solid Waste Collection Services Agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and the Town of Summerdale for a period of thirty-six (36) months, to be effective April 1, 2016 and expiring on April 1, 2019.
The Baldwin County Solid Waste Department has presented to the Town of Summerdale an agreement for the renewal of the garbage services agreement between the Town of Summerdale and the Baldwin County Commission. The agreement term is for the period of thirty-six (36) months to commence on the first day of the month following acceptance by the County Commission. The Town of Summerdale will formally accept this agreement in their council meeting March 11, 2019.
