Recommendation
Award the lowest quote to Star Service, Inc. of Mobile, in the amount of $33,992.00 for cleaning the Heating and Air Conditioning Ducts in the Central Annex II building located in Robertsdale, Alabama and authorize the Chairman to execute the Public Works Contract and Certificate of Compliance.
(Contract shall be effective and commence immediately upon the same date as its full execution, and shall terminate upon either the expiration of no more than thirty (30) days after the notice to proceed is issued).

Previous Commission action/date: N/A
Background: Quotes were received for cleaning the heating and air conditioning ducts in the Central Annex II building located in Robertsdale. The County Engineer requested that this work be done because several of the staff have reported finding black particles coming out of the duct system. Four (4) quotes were received. The lowest quote was received from Star Service, Inc. of Mobile in the amount of $33,992.00. Recommend the Commission approve the lowest quote and authorize the Chairman to execute the Public Works Contract and Certificate of Compliance.
