Previous Commission action/date: N/A
Background: May 28, 2019, BCC Work Session - Councilman Ralph Helmich, City of Foley; and Miriam Boutwell, Community Development Director, Planner/Building Official, City of Foley; were in attendance to discuss the proposed Rails to Trails project in Baldwin County and the Rivers, Trails & Conservation Assistance (RTCA) Program by the U.S. Department of the Interior.
The grant application does not involve any funding, only technical assistance by the National Park Service RTCA, which may include but is not limited to: GIS mapping, planning staff assistance and project administration.
Application deadline is June 30, 2019.
