Recommendation
Approve the request from Ms. Yael Girard, Executive Director of the Weeks Bay Foundation, to install signage regarding derelict vessels in waterways at the following county maintained boat ramps:
Cliff’s Landing
Byrne’s Lake
Seminole Boat Launch
Lillian Boat Launch
Yupon Street Water Access / Boat Launch
Josephine Park
Fish Trap Access and Boat Launch
The Weeks Bay Foundation will provide the signs for the project and the Highway Department will install the signs.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date: May 21, 2019
Background: On May 21, 2019, the Commission approved signage being placed at Mullet Point and View Point boat ramps to help educate the public as part of a program to address derelict vessels in local waterways.
Ms. Girard contacted the Highway Department requesting permission for signs to also be placed at the boat ramps listed above.
