Recommendation
Award the bid to CrowderGulf, LLC, as per the attached Award Listing for the Annual Sand Removal, Sifting and Disposition of Sand from County Right-of-Ways onto the Beach on the Fort Morgan Peninsula and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract. (Effective date of Contract begins on the same date as its full execution for twenty-four months with a twelve (12) month renewal option).

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date:
05/21/2019 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Annual Sand Removal, Sifting and Disposition of Sand from County Right-of-Ways onto the Beach on the Fort Morgan Peninsula; and
2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on June 10, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. One (1) bid was received. The bid was received from CrowderGulf, LLC, as per the attached Award Listing. Recommend the Commission award the bid to CrowderGulf, LLC, and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract.
Three Hundred and Forty-Seven (347) Vendors registered on the County website and were notified by email and sent a postcard, via U.S. Postal Service notifying them of this solicitation.
