Sales & Use Tax Collection Software Agreement Addendum

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Related to the Sales & Use Tax collection software, take the following actions:
1) Approve the Computer Software Support Agreement with Delta Computer Systems, Inc., commencing on the first day of the delivery of the software or upon acceptance of the addendum(s) by both parties and shall remain in effect for one year. This agreement shall remain in effect for one year and automatically renew annually; and
2) Authorize the Chairman to sign the Computer Software Support Agreement Addendum with Delta Computer Systems with the new monthly rate in the amount of $1,025.00, effective October 1, 2019.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date: June 3, 2014, July 19, 2016, and August 7, 2018
Background:
During Regular Baldwin County Commission meeting on June 3, 2014, related to the Sales & Use Tax collection software, took the following actions:
1) Authorized the Chairman to sign the Purchase Agreement with Delta Computer Software Systems, Inc. for software license fee in the amount of $41,000.00; and
2) Authorized the Chairman to sign the Computer Software License Agreement with Delta Computer Systems, Inc.; and
3) Authorized the Chairman to sign the Computer Software Support Agreement with Delta Computer Systems, Inc. with terms of this agreement automatically renew at each annual period; and
4) Authorized the Chairman to sign the Computer Software Support Agreement Addendum with Delta Computer Systems.
During the Regular Baldwin County Commission Meeting July 19, 2016, related to the Manufactured Homes and Business License Program citation functions, took the following actions:
1) Authorized the Chairman to sign the Computer Software Support Agreement with Delta Computer Systems, Inc. with terms of this agreement automatically renewing at each annual period; and
2) Authorized the Chairman to sign the Computer Software Support Agreement Addendum with Delta Computer Systems, Inc.
During the Regular Baldwin County Commission Meeting August 7, 2018, related to the Sales & Use Tax collection software, took the following actions:
1) Authorized the Chairman to sign the Computer Software Support Agreement with Delta Computer Systems, Inc. with terms of this agreement automatically renew at each annual period; and
2) Authorized the Chairman to sign the Computer Software Support Agreement Addendum with Delta Computer Systems.
