BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Background: The subject request involves a 4.5 acres portion of one parcel which consist of approximately 25 acres. The current zoning is RMF-6, Multi-Family District, and the requested zoning is B-3, General Business District to allow for a Storage Business for Boats and Recreational Vehicles.
The Planning Commission considered this request at its June 6, 2019 meeting and voted to recommend DENIAL to the County Commission. Staff concurs with that recommendation.
Additional information, concerning zoning designations for surrounding properties in the city of Foley, has been included in the staff report.
