Background: Ms. Joan Richardson, Chairman of the Bicentennial Steering Committee for the Town of Loxley will make a presentation to the Baldwin County Commission and the public regarding the Alabama 200 Bicentennial projects.
The Loxley Founders Day Celebration is scheduled for Saturday, November 9, 2019, at the Loxley Civic Center. One of the special guests for Founders Day will be Mr. Robert Scott Loxley of Prineville, Oregon who is a direct descendant of Mr. John Loxley, founder of the Town of Loxley. Mr. Loxley, his wife and children will be attending the Founders Day Celebration and are planning to make it a family vacation so their children can honor the family’s heritage.
