STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the Road Construction and Repaving Agreement between Baldwin County, Mullins, LLC and Breland Homes Coastal, LLC for the repaving of Shambo Road. (This agreement shall become effective upon the date of full execution by both parties. The County may terminate this Agreement, with or without cause, upon written notice to the Developer. Termination shall be deemed effective seven (7) days after the date such notice is mailed by certified mail to the Developer.)

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date: N/A
Background: A connection has been made between Shambo Road and Churchill Subdivision which will result in an increase in traffic on Shambo Road. It is in the public interest for the County and the Developer to cooperate toward the proposed road improvements. Mullins, LLC and Breland Homes Coastal, LLC has agreed to provide payment for materials ($24,117.90) to resurface Shambo Road. The County has agreed to provide labor and equipment for the resurfacing.
