Intergovernmental Service Agreement between Baldwin County and the Bay Minette Municipal Airport Authority for Parking Lot Resurfacing

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute an Intergovernmental Service Agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and the Bay Minette Municipal Airport Authority for the Baldwin County Highway Department to resurface half of the parking lot located near the Clark Building with tie-ins to the building and the taxiway for an estimated cost of $10,563.62 for labor and equipment. The Bay Minette Municipal Airport will be invoiced for the actual cost upon completion of the project. (This agreement shall be effective upon full execution and terminate after (12) months unless terminated by either party upon the delivery of a thirty (30) day notice of termination.)

BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Bay Minette Municipal Airport Authority is requesting assistance from the Baldwin County Commission for the resurfacing of half of the parking lot. The Airport Authority will be invoiced actual costs for labor and equipment upon completion of the project.
The Bay Minette Municipal Airport Authority will provide materials for this project.
Previous Commission action/date:
July 21, 2015 - The Commission authorized the Baldwin County Highway Department to restripe the runway of the Bay Minette Airport for a cost of $3,800.00 with the City of Bay Minette committing to reimburse the County for labor and materials. The City of Bay Minette was invoiced the actual cost of labor and materials upon completion of the project.
Background:
The Bay Minette Municipal Airport Authority is requesting assistance from the Commission resurfacing a portion of their parking lot.
