STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2019-124 which APPROVES Case Z-19028, Silcox Property, as it pertains to the rezoning of approximately 1.45 acres, located in Planning (Zoning) District 12, from RSF-E, Residential Single-Family Estate District, to B-3, General Business District.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Previous Commission action/date:  N/A

 

Background:  The subject property consists of 3.36 acres and is currently zoned RSF-E, Residential Single-Family Estate District.  The designation of B-3 General Business District has been requested for approximately 1.45 acres of the subject property for the purpose of establishing a retail store.  The subject property is located east of the Baldwin Beach Express and north of Oakdale Lane.  The adjoining properties are residential and commercial.

 

The Planning Commission considered this request on July 11, 2019 and voted to recommend APPROVAL to the County Commission.
