STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

 

1) Approve Resolution No. 2019-137 in support of submitting an application for the Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement Program II (ATRIP-II); and

 

2) Approve the Chairman to execute any project related documents except for any project funding agreements that will be brought back before the Commission for approval.

Background:  The Alabama Department of Transportation has placed a “Call for Applications” for the ATRIP-II Funding Program. The Baldwin County Highway Department has selected the intersection improvements on the Baldwin Beach Express at U.S. Highway 90 as a project that would meet the requirements of the ATRIP-II program.
