STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

 

1) Adopt Resolution #2020-018 authorizing and consenting to the transfer of ownership, maintenance and responsibility of Styron Lane (from U.S. Highway 90 approximately 0.25 miles south) from Baldwin County to the City of Robertsdale; and

 

2) Approve an agreement between Baldwin County and the City of Robertsdale for the transfer of Styron Lane (from U.S. Highway 90 approximately 0.25 miles south) from Baldwin County to the City of Robertsdale. (This agreement shall be effective upon full execution.)

Background:  Mayor Charles H. Murphy of the City of Robertsdale is requesting the Baldwin County Commission transfer maintenance of Styron Lane, from U.S. Highway 90 approximately 0.25 miles south, to facilitate access to and development of property owned by the City of Robertsdale in this area.
