Recommendation
Award the bid for the Provision of Fence Installation and Repair on County Right-of-Ways to the lowest responsible bidder, S & S Construction Services, LLC, as per the attached Award Listing and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract. (Contract is effective immediately upon the same date as its full execution for twelve (12) months.)

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date:
12/17/2019 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Provision of Fence Installation and Repair on County Right-of-Ways for the Baldwin County Commission; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on January 6, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. Three (3) bids were received. The lowest bid was received from Warriner Construction who did not included the required Certificate of Insurance and a Bid Bond. The next lowest bid who met all the specifications was received from S & S Construction Services, LLC. Recommend the Commission award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder, S & S Construction Services, LLC, as per the attached Award Listing for the Provision of Fence Installation and Repair on County Right-of-Ways. Bid Tabulation is attached for review.
