BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date:
December 3, 2019 - The Commission adopted Resolution #2020-038 amending the Fiscal Year 2020 Budget (Resolution #2019-144 adopted September 20, 2019) to authorize the movement of $400,000.00 from General Fund (Fund 001) to Parks (Fund 144) for the design of the Intracoastal Waterway Boat Launch.
Background:
The Highway Department has selected Volkert Inc. to perform design services for the Intracoastal Waterway Boat Launch. The proposed fee of $399,931.00 exceeds Commission Policy #9.10 - Engineering and Survey Services which has an On-Call limit of $100,000.00.
