STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Regarding the Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF), take the following actions:
1. Authorize the Chairman to sign Attachment A - Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) Acknowledgement and Certification and;
2. Authorize staff to prepare and submit reimbursement requests, Attachment B - CRF Request for Reimbursement Form(s), on an as needed basis and;
3. Authorize the Chairman to sign the reimbursement requests as prepared by staff on an as needed basis.

Background: The federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES Act) authorized $150 Billion through the Coronavirus Relief Fund for state and local governments, including approximately $1.8 Billion for Alabama.
