Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2021-014, which approves Case No. Z-20040, Gates VI, LLC Property, as it pertains to the rezoning of 5.39 acres, more or less, as located in Planning (Zoning) District 30, from B-2, Neighborhood Business District, to HDR, High Density Residential District.

Background: The subject request involves a 5.39-acre portion of one parcel which consist of approximately 7.1 acres.  The current zoning is B-2, Neighborhood Business District and the requested zoning is HDR, High Density Residential District, for the purpose of developing a 56-unit apartment complex by The Park Companies.

 

The Planning Commission considered this request at its November 5, 2020 meeting and voted four to one to recommend APPROVAL to the County Commission.
