Approve amending the Fiscal Year 2021 Equipment Purchase list for Area 100 to purchase a Ford F-550 Truck with a Knapheide service bed for $74,880.00 instead of a Freightliner M2 106 Flatbed Fuel Truck for $94,600.00.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Previous Commission action/date:  September 22, 2020

 

Background:  During the September 22, 2020, regular meeting, the Commission approved the Fiscal Year 2021 budget which included the purchase of a Freightliner M2 106 Flatbed Fuel Truck for Area 100 at a cost of $94,600. After a personnel change in their department which changed their current equipment needs, Area 100 would like to purchase a Ford F-550 Truck with a Knapheide service bed instead of the fuel truck.
