Waive Baldwin County Commission Policy #9.10 - Engineering, Environmental Monitoring and Surveying Services and approve on-call consultant Volkert, Inc. to perform construction engineering and inspection (CE&I) services for the Baldwin County Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) Boat Launch Construction Project with CE&I fees not to exceed $369,809.94.

Previous Commission action/date: N/A
Background: The Highway Department has selected Volkert, Inc. to perform CE&I services for the ICW Boat Launch Project. The proposed fee of $369,809.94 exceeds the $100,000.000 limit outlined in Baldwin County Policy #9.10. Additional sales tax revenue which by statute are allocated to Highway projects will be moved to the project to fund these CE&I services.
