Recommendation
Award the bid for the re-roofing of the Mills Creek Training Facility located in Stapleton, Alabama, to Bacik Group, LLC dba Blackbird Roofing and authorize the Chairman to execute the contract as follows:
Base Bid: $12,500.00
Unit Pricing:
a) Replace 4 x 8 plywood sheeting $125.00 each
The work is to be completed within fifteen (15) days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Previous Commission action/date:
04/06/2021 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the re-roofing of the Mills Creek Training Facility located in Stapleton, Alabama; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid was advertised.
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on May 6, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. One (1) bid was received. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for the re-roofing of the Mills Creek Training Facility located in Stapleton, Alabama to Bacik Group, LLC dba Blackbird Roofing, and authorize the Chairman to execute the contract.
